Jesus, I just re-read my response and I want you guys to know I feel really badly for writing it in the way I wrote it. Comes off rather rude and all knowing and there I am being the one giving the wrong information! Well, some of it is right, but the picture clearly shows the exhaust cam being fubar relative to the intake cam and I go all off about the timing marks on the belt and yadda yadda yadda. For a guy who actually does understand the timing belt and how critical it is (and yes I use the marks and I count cogs, always) I feel pretty darn foolish for writing that post. Shit, it's even written convincingly to someone who didn't know better. Which is why it is all the worse! Anyhow, my apologies again, and I could imagine anyone who reads that post and knows what is shown in the picture will wonder what I was smoking. And that's what is scary...I wasn't on anything! A little sleep deprived, but that's all.
